Twilight Pediatrics Enhanced Access Care Model began with a single mission – to spend more, quality time with patients, without a rushed office environment and more flexibility for parents. Care that includes more then the regular 10-15 minute in-out experience. Access that is beyond the traditional care model that’s offered in most settings. Weekend access, after-hours accessibility for guidance and direction and an occasional unexpected urgent weekend visit if we feel it is needed.
Under the time constraints of traditional medicine, we found that office visits were often too short and we were left feeling like we were rushed to get to the next patient, thus not allowing us the time we wanted with each family. Now within our unique EA model, we have a smaller patient panel, allowing more opportunity to truly get to know our children and each child's individual needs. Our parents also have access to their child’s providers 24/7 via patient portal and email. Nothing beats the convenience of being able to contact your pediatrician anytime.

A pediatrician in today’s standard practice has a patient size typically ranging from 1,000 – 2,000 which means short, rushed, back-to-back appointments all day long. It is virtually impossible for even the best of pediatricians to provide the comprehensive, thoughtful care your children and family deserve. Crucial preventive care is rarely addressed simply because there is just not enough time, resulting in more sick time for your children and more time at the doctor’s office for you.

Being independently owned and operated by the providers, the usual constraints that are placed upon physicians to operate like a large organization is removed. Therefore, the focus at a concierge practice shifts from quantity to quality. At Twilight Pediatrics, you will receive quality, personalized appointments with Dr. Khan and Melanie APRN, FNP-C, where your child and family will receive the time necessary to build and grow an intimate patient-family-doctor relationship that will be invaluable to your child’s total health and well-being.

Our office utilizes a patient portal app that allows parents to be in contact with the providers at any time. This will allow you to send messages to the nurse, directly to the providers, and allow us to send imaging, lab orders, and results directly to you as parents.

We operate with a very small, experienced team. Children are our passion and we genuinely treat and care for your little ones as we would our own. When you come into our office your little ones will always know the staff and the providers taking care of them.
